About Hong Kong

Hong Kong is a chinese restaurant in Los Angeles, California. It is listed at 187 W Manchester Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90003, which places it among the local businesses of Los Angeles that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10:30 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Hong Kong at (323) 753-6188; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, hong-kong-restaurant.com.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Says they open at 10:30 but it’s almost 11am and they’re not open. Apple Maps said it opened at 10am and they don’t have a sign with the hours. They open when they want to.

Im back with another Chinese joint review i was craving Chinese food again and i came across this place on Google search so I drove to see what was the deal and I'll say the food here is delicious πŸ˜‹ every bite has flavor they serve you really good portions of food i got the combo A or B i think it comes with 4 items of your choice i forgot i was hungry i got more chow mein orange 🍊 chicken πŸ” BBQ pork πŸ– and less rice 🍚 and 4 egg rolls with a teriyaki stick for the road πŸ˜‹ the teriyaki stick was bomb πŸ’£ Its like an appetizer before your dinner comes at a restaurant and everything looks fresh but I liked it the service was good everyone was friendly they also have other items on the menu for you to try but it's a really cool joint you can also dine in and enjoy some good delicious and yummy food if you like cookies πŸͺ I recommend you getting the almond cookies πŸͺ those are good the only bad part is that there are homeless people that are around there and the parking had a weird set up there's other businesses there as well so the parking situation is kind of hectic i guss depending on the time you go but another then that my experience was good and delicious πŸ˜‹ the Chinese joint was good πŸ‘

Another review of a Chinese restaurant, this one is a hit and miss. We had 2 combo 3 plates, half and half on rice and noodles that were OK. Nothing stood out bad or great, for the sides we had orange chicken that was flavorful but a little old, we also had the green bean chicken that was absolutely great tasting, and also we had the mushrooms chicken that was good as well. So, for the last 2 items, we had teriyaki chicken, and the only complaint there was there was not enough teriyaki sauce at all, but besides that, it was great. My one warning here is the beef broccoli, I don't know if it was the batch or cuts, but the meat on both our plates was so gummy it hurt my gums and was inedible.
